Mythological Horror story of Tumbbad
This movie is divided into 3 chapter.
Chapter-1
First chapter begin with young vinayak, his brother sadashiv and his mother. vinayak mother is a servant
in the house of sarkar .she give sexual pleasure to sarkar so that he gives her the gold coin.vinayak has a grandmother also who is suffering from the curse of haster(son of earth).The curse made her immortal. vinayak mother take care of grandmother by feeding the food . one day sarkar died and mother decided to leave the tumbaad because their was nothing left their. outside the house sadashiv sat on the branch of a tree ,suddenly branch break and sadashiv fall. mother take sadashiv to a hospital and instruct vinayak to feed the grandmother if she wake up say sleep otherwise haster will come. vinayak prepare food for grandmother when he feed her she wakes up and attack. vinayak forget the word suddenly he remember the words and speak grandmother again sleep.next morning mother come back sadashiv died .mother and vinayak left the tumbaad .mother take the promise from vinayak he will never come back to tumbaad . Chapter 1 ends there.
Chapter-2
Chapter -2 starts after 15 year where vinayak is now a man .He return to tumbaad and search his grandmother. His grandmother now become a tree . They make a deal , deal is if she tell him the truth about the treasure then vinayak set her free. vinayak find the treasure and free grandmother by set her to fire. vinayak come back to pune and pay his debt by exchanging the gold coin.he becomes rich and rich by selling the gold coin to raghav (merchant).merchant have curiosity in his mind from where he will get the coin.He make inquiry by investigating vinayak wife but get nothing. merchant know that Vinayak find this coin in Tumbaad so he makes a plan he sell his daughter-in-law to vinayak so that he is busy with her and he will find the gold coin. Vinayak understood his intention and he follow merchant .vinayak make plan to trap the merchant .here we will find that how Vinayak find this coin. Actually Vinayak make a flour doll and put some stone in it .He then goes to the womb of earth and throw the doll haster came and eat the doll in the meantime Vinayak steal some coin from haster. Raghav reaches to the womb of earth where Vinayak already left the doll as raghav lifts the doll haster came and touches Raghav so Raghav also becomes the creature. Vinayak follow Raghav and sees his condition he fell the pain of him and frees him by setting him to fire. Here chapter 2 ends.
Chapter-3
Chapter 3 was set up after 15 years when India got its independence. now Vinayak is old and slow he trainee his son for stealing of coin. one day Vinayak take his kid to the tumbaad and teach him how to steal the gold coin. during training he says son throw the doll we complete our training without the doll but his kid took the doll. they nearly escape from haster. I the run, they find that the tumbaad mansion is quire by the government.so his son makes the plan to steal the loincloth of haster. They make lots of dolls so that haster is busy eating and they steal the loincloth of haster. They travel to tumbaad and follow the plan but their plan backfires because there are lots of haster (because there are lots of dolls). Vinayak decides to sacrifice himself to save his son. In the final scene, we find that Vinayak now becomes a creature and offers his son the loincloth which he steals from haster. His son understands the greed and decided to free his father.
Review- This is the first Indian movie that gives a fight to the Hollywood movies. the story, screenplay, and acting were awesome. I will give 4 out of 5 stars.
